Our Story – How Fiordline Campers Began

Hi, I’m Jordan — founder of Fiordline Campers.
​
Fiordline was born from my love of travelling, the outdoors, and the freedom that comes with the open road. The name itself is a nod to the time I spent living in New Zealand, exploring dramatic landscapes, winding roads, and of course — the breathtaking fiords that left a lasting mark on me. It was there that I truly fell in love with vanlife. The simplicity, the spontaneity, the ability to wake up in a different kind of paradise each day — it completely reshaped how I saw travel.

Back in the UK, I started out converting and selling campervans under my other business. But I quickly realised that not everyone wants to own a van — many just want to experience it: to unplug for a few days, breathe fresh air, and explore without a set plan. So I created Fiordline Campers, to offer exactly that.

My first rental van, Fiordline One, is designed for comfort, style, and practicality — the kind of van I’d want to travel in myself. Whether it’s a weekend escape through the Lake District or a longer road trip through the UK, it’s built to feel like a little home on wheels.

I run Fiordline as a small, independent business — so you get a personal, local experience. No faceless fleets or automated emails — just a well-looked-after van, from someone who genuinely cares about your trip being something special.
